Dance Location: In York - FREE BEACH DANCE, Short Sands Park, York Beach, Rt 1A York's 350th Parade - The two pictures (left) show our float in the York 350th Anniversary Parade in 2002. Ruth said: "Our float was 25th in a two hour parade. The sun shone on us both Saturday and Sunday. We danced on the haywagon (with 30" sides) from the time we began the parade route until the finish. We kept swapping off with each other. I've never been so tired, trying to manage a moving floor and not fall overboard." Dances: We host Sunday afternoon dances from 2 - 5 PM in May, October and December. We also host a Free Beach dance on the 1st Friday night in August from 7 PM till dark. All dances offer alternating Mainstream and Plus tips as well as round dancing between tips (2+2). See our dance schedule for details and special circumstances. Club Caller: Joe Casey Mail: P.O.
